The DJI Mini 4 Pro has the ability to create waypoint missions. With these you can position the drone as you want, setting the height, rotation, camera orientation etc, and the flag that as a waypoint. Y
You can then do that again and again to create a complete mission. You can set the speed it’ll fly, what will happen at each waypoint (start recording, take picture etc), what it will do when done, etc, and, after saving if desired, you can execute the mission. You can also set a point of interest that you can set the camera to focus on through any and all waypoints.
You can actually do these on a map as well rather than while in flight, but I have no confidence in how you’d know the height or camera positioning etc.
Running a mission in this manner, will give a much smoother flight than I, at least, can achieve on my own.
Sorry for the audio quality, recorded this on my laptop and it has a distinct echo. I also need a sun guard (ordered) as it was nearly impossible to see the screen in the bright sun to determine what I was pointing at!
Just got my hands on a drone, and let me tell you, it's awesome (and way trickier than it looks!). I'm here to document my adventures in the sky, share epic aerial photos and videos (hopefully!), and learn alongside all you other drone newbies. We'll explore the coolest accessories, tackle those inevitable challenges (read: crash landings!), and figure out all the pitfalls together. Buckle up for some wobbly flights, stunning scenery, and maybe a few laughs along the way!
