First off, anxiety is a bitch…. I tried to go multiple places this morning, but between drone restrictions in some, and the fact my anxiety wouldn’t let me leave the car in others, I didn’t hit any of them.
I finally decided to try and find Kearney Lake Dam Falls. There is a trail just off Larry Uteck Boulevard that I’d never explored before and I took a quick walk there today with the Insta360, thinking it might lead to there. It didn’t quite, but I do think I know how to find that for next time.
But I did find a, to me at least, a slightly hidden treasure in this little nook with picnic tables, a gazebo and benches with the added bonus of ducklings!
Just got my hands on a drone, and let me tell you, it's awesome (and way trickier than it looks!). I'm here to document my adventures in the sky, share epic aerial photos and videos (hopefully!), and learn alongside all you other drone newbies. We'll explore the coolest accessories, tackle those inevitable challenges (read: crash landings!), and figure out all the pitfalls together. Buckle up for some wobbly flights, stunning scenery, and maybe a few laughs along the way!
