It was a beautiful morning after last nights rain, and I decided to try DeWolf Park again. There were very few people around, and it was a gorgeous morning so I hoped to get some great footage!
I started out over near the Halifax Explosion memorial, and walked over to the office and condo building. A condo resident did ask/complain about flying too close to people, and while I was within regulations, as best I can tell, it wasn’t my intent to be near residences anyway. I apologized and landed. I had honestly forgotten it was a condo. Was more interested in not crashing!
All that said, from a privacy perspective, its kinda moot, because, as the title suggestions… I learned a lesson. A lesson in always remember to press record! I have no footage from the drone, just the screen recording attached.
As Pepe le Peu would say… Le sigh.
Just got my hands on a drone, and let me tell you, it's awesome (and way trickier than it looks!). I'm here to document my adventures in the sky, share epic aerial photos and videos (hopefully!), and learn alongside all you other drone newbies. We'll explore the coolest accessories, tackle those inevitable challenges (read: crash landings!), and figure out all the pitfalls together. Buckle up for some wobbly flights, stunning scenery, and maybe a few laughs along the way!
