Yesterday I created a new YouTube channel for Halidronia. There I plan to put more “finished” work versus learning and experimentation, I’ll keep those on the old petersmithca channel.
Only one video there now, the one you see above. No set schedule for posting, just as my schedule and weather permit. I do have places in mind, such as Chain of Lakes trail, BLT trail, Salt Marsh Trail, etc. But the “when” and details of “what” are still a work in progress!
Although I have no expectations, I’d love to have you, what is it all the YouTubers say? Like, subscribe and turn on notifications, LOL.
I hope to show you around the parks, trails, sights and landscapes of Halifax, and occasionally beyond by foot, bike and drone, and perhaps pick up some better/newer gadgets to help along the way (Insta360 X4 springs to mind).
I hope to add in some things I’ll learn about video editing, drones & accessories, and maybe “making of” videos to show the method behind the mayhem.
I’d love your suggestions of places to go (be nice!) and things to showcase. And other ideas too. Like should I create a Facebook page? Twitter? and if so what would I post? 😀
I’m a total noob to all this!
Just got my hands on a drone, and let me tell you, it's awesome (and way trickier than it looks!). I'm here to document my adventures in the sky, share epic aerial photos and videos (hopefully!), and learn alongside all you other drone newbies. We'll explore the coolest accessories, tackle those inevitable challenges (read: crash landings!), and figure out all the pitfalls together. Buckle up for some wobbly flights, stunning scenery, and maybe a few laughs along the way!
